Hi! I’m Shannon Van Pelt, born and raised in San Diego. I first fell in love with horror while watching Tales from the Crypt at a pretty young age (thanks, mom ) 

As I grew up, my horror obsession intensified and I decided to pursue a career in Special Fx Make up, ultimately, leading me to sculpting, and that’s when everything clicked. But I didn’t stop there, I wanted to draw and paint as well. 

I’ve been lucky enough to have my work displayed at D23 and Universal Studios. My biggest influences are Jack Kirby, Graham Ingel, Milicent Patrick, Frank Frazetta, Marc Davis, and pretty much everything EC Comics.

When I’m not being an art gremlin, I love playing video games, being surrounded by pines, reading horror/sci-fi books, playing guitar, and trying to be a buff mami
